About the Role:The Data Engineer role is a technical developer
and individual contributor of the People Analytics Data Engineering
team responsible for the development of data warehouse modeling,
data pipelines, and related analytics specific to People or
workforce analytics in cloud data platforms.What you'll do:
- Responsible for ETL/ ELT data pipeline development within
industry cloud tools, data warehousing data modeling explicitly for
analytics and data science (AI / ML) modeling and working
collaboratively within a team of technical developers via Agile
development methodologies.
- Regular development and production ready releases are expected
focusing on data models, data structures and supporting pipelines
to enable the analysis and analytics of broader People Analytics in
order to provide actionable insights to increase Gartner's growth
or attract and retain key talent.What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree, Masters, or equivalent in: Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, Engineering, Management Science, or Data
Science or equivalent technical field
- 2+ years of post-university working experience.
- Strong communication skills, data automation, analytics, and
problem-solving experience
- Proven ability to use data, analytics, and business knowledge
to solve complex business problems.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
(e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience in deployment processes following change controls.
Should be aware of CI/CD pipelines -Jenkins, DevOps etc.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., Azure Data
Factory or similar).
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google
Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake,
Redshift, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or
R.
- Familiarity or working knowledge of common data visualization
or business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Oracle BI,
Visier, etc.)
- Preferably technical experience specific to people or talent
analytics, data engineering, visualization, business intelligence,

reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is
72,000 USD - 96,750 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary
within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors
including, but not limited to, education, training, experience,
professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition
to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual
bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a
role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition
