Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Physician Reviewer.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluates clinical service requests made by members and
providers
Uses clinical judgment to adjudicate requests and provide clinical
leadership
Participates in the appeal process of service denials and develops
policies for the review unit
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must be board Certified (ABMS), M.D. or D.O
Unrestricted physician license in IL, NM, TX, OK, or MT
5 years of clinical experience, including inpatient experience
Experience as a Physician Reviewer in a Health Plan setting
Previous UM drug review experience
