Job Description Because of the need for consistent, in-person
collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due
to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed
full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at
a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.Our employees work on the

components, subassemblies and systems by following specific written
instructions.
Ability to use hot air station to
solder electronic components under microscope such as transformers,
capacitors, resistors and other electronic components assemblies by
working from prints, drawings, process routers and verbal
instructions using appropriate tooling and machinery. Verifies
results to ensure conformance with requirements and performs rework
as needed.Ability to assembly chassis assemblies and perform
mechanical assembly operations in the build of electronic
assemblies using mechanical drawings.Ability to perform electronic
assembly operations such as custom cable building, cable
assemblies, wire cutting, crimping, and stripping.Ability to use
small hand tools and complex tooling (i.e. insertion, extraction,
wire strippers and crimpers).May cross-train other assembly
positions.Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.Must be
able to obtain appropriate workmanship certifications to applicable
standards (IPC/WHMA-A-620D & IPC J-STD-001)Participates in and
supports continuous improvement activities.Performs other duties
and responsibilities as required Required Education, Experience, &
Skills High School Diploma or GED and 5 years work experience,
specifically in mechanical, cable assembly and SMT soldering.IPC
J-STD-0001 is required.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
IPC/WHMA-A-620D & IPC J-STD-001 certifications are ideal.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $47900 - $76600Please note: This
range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual
salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not
limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and
internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as
